a lovely parcel of ponies for me today ;D hazel gave me first dibs on her welshie collection, so i picked out all the ones i didn't have already, which are all also really really pretty colours
magenpies ;D
i haven't had any new ones for a long while, it's fun to get back into the collecting side, filling in the gaps in my herd, and of course giving a new home to ponies who need to move yards
sorry for the utter badness of some of these photos, the camera's misbehaving in indoor light and it's far too windy to take wobbly welshies walkabout in the garden, hehe
this pretty little cream dun was a one-off made by magpie as a raffle prize, his body is the same shade as a pale palomino i've got, it looks really pretty painted up and being one-of-a-kind makes him even more special!
oscar the 'other' exmoor, i had one already who's a lot darker and doesn't have the white markings, so i just had to get her matching friend
showing the colour difference
conker, a very dark bay-brown skewbald, he looks piebald here but has rich shading in person, and some brown mised in his mane and tail
bluebell, erin's got one of these - does yours have the same freezemark, LH14? i just wondered if they were all done the same or individually numbered
here she is with my other blue roan, he's painted differently, has different markings, and no streaks in his hair
strawberry fayre, really gorgeous roan, this one was my most wanted after i got the fjord and exmoor magenpies
the other chestnut roan, this one was called honey and looks very different to the previous one, but just as pretty
with her foal, bea
bea on her own
spotty pony, this one's really nicely done with a very realtis appy pattern, i don't know her OF name without looking it up
and another one who's OF name i don't know, these two are my first spotty magenpies so it's nice they've got eachother for company, hehe
what a lovely boxful! i'm reorganising my smallish models so the magpies get a whole set of real shelves and the schleich have to find alternate lodgings (not where the magpies came from, that's for julip HOTYs). for now they're living on the mantelpiece so i can look at them all a lot before putting them on display with the others
