Here are some group shots of my Magpies, out on a sunng Spring day 3 years ago (gasp!): Pally arabs: Bay Arabs, Tammy and Tarragon: Chestnut Arabs, Nutmeg, Maybe Jade and Artemis: Black Arabs (please don't make me name them all....): Grey Arabs (ditto, lol): Dappled Grey Persies: Orange Arabs (persies and a one-off): Roan Arabs: Spotty Arabs: Splotchy Arabs: Dun Arabs (one regular, one persie): You bored yet? lol!

no I'm not bored, they're lovely! I especially like the palomino arabs. It's interesting how different they can look. I know I'm ignorant but what's a persie ?

short for 'personality', which was a special run done with extra detailed paintwork, better than the normal catalogue colours. they were sold for a limited time each, with a name - a bit like a julip catalogue model but without the possibility of ordering the same thing later on

Thanks, Pip! That's Apollo, he was only available in the newsletter, in, hmm, 1996 or something, I think? There was a similar cream dun arab model available in the 4th personality collection called Walnut Whip
